Who will I use for my models?
Location for photography
I would like to have one shoot indoors and the other outside, maybe presenting different atmospheres due to lighting to portray different times of day and temperatures. This mise-en-scene will help create different attitudes towards each image. The outside shoot could contain quite cool tones, showing the bitter cold and how the model is exposed and vulnerable in nature. Where as the indoor one can be warm tones to create a cosy and comforting feeling, as if they are protected within walls
Props
For one of my shoots I am wanting the model to be an actor, out of character. A prop I could use is a chair that they can sit on, or something they are leaning against, to give them a confident yet comfortable pose, making them appear professional
The actors face will be clearly lit up, a warm glowing lighting to make them appear cheerful and friendly, but also this positive energy radiating off them shows they success and achievement. For my movie shoot I would like to incorporate lots of shadows to make a distorted and unique image for a possible thriller
Body language
For my “actor” I would like to have a pictures that shows them mid laughing, a joyful and real smile that will show the target audience what a genuine and nice person they are, therefore likeable. This also takes the seriousness away from their profession, enabling people to relate and identify with them.
I myself will be taking the images, I will use my phone and then edit each photo on an app called Pics art to make sure they are of highest quality and to really emphasise the mood I’m trying to create.
